Job Location: Central Kalimantan
PT Bumi Barito Mineral is an established coal company which focusing metallurgical coal production currently require a fully dedicated and motivated person to fill some position in the Civil Engineer Department.

Job Role:

1. Set out and organize the works in accordance with the drawings and specifications;
2. Ensure engineering specification, design quality, technical accuracy of drawings, material quantities, and procedures meet with standards, specifications and regulations;
3. Support and managing road construction activities which include site survey activities, design reviews, developing various civil/structural activities (e.g. site layout and plans, data sheets, calculations, required field testing, etc.);
4. Ensure the assigned work accordance with all the compliance requirements (e.g. basic design, company HSE and quality standards, contract procedures, project standards (quality, cost and schedule) as well as existing codes and specifications;
5. Responsible to do daily monitoring and road maintenance as required;
6. Liaise with main contractor, consultant, as necessary for site work progress;
7. Enforce the relevant safety rules at site and make sure personal protective equipment is worn as and where required by the staff / workmen under their responsibility;
8. Attend coordination meetings organized by main contractor and consultants etc.;
9. Conduct daily briefing with site team leaders to follow-up and report on the work progress in order to anticipate any possible delays with regards to planned tasks;
10. Take immediate corrective action to avoid any cumulative effect of such deviation and recover the delay to finish the task in due time;
11. Report to Site Manager/ General Manager

Requirements:

1. Male, 40 years and below
2. Diploma or degree in Engineering (Civil)
3. At least 5 years of experience in same field, preferable in mining company
4. Have experience in haul road design and construction
5. Have experience in geotechnic and bridge structure design
6. Familiar with haul truck type, size and specification is a plus
7. Must have strong background in piling works, concrete works and design construction
8. Has experience in Work Inspection Report (WIR) and Material Inspection Report (MIR)
9. Familiar with civil work software such as Autocad Civil 3D, E-tabs, and Microsoft Project
10. Excellent communication skills in English
